Greiner expands the board

Greiner expands the board

As of January 1, 2023, the board of directors of the Upper Austrian plastics group Greiner will increase by 50 percent. Manfred Stanek, previously Managing Director of the packaging division Greiner Packaging, will become Chief Operating Officer (COO), so he will take care of the operative business. This means that CEO Axel Kühner, who has previously formed a board of two with CFO Hannes Moser, can focus more on strategic issues.

Manfred Stanek (53) has been head of Packaging since 2016, which produces plastic packaging and employs more than 4,900 people. Before joining Greiner, he worked for the US aluminum group Novelis and before that managed the zinc producer US Zinc. “Manfred Stanek is the perfect choice,” says Kühner Rosen. He has impressively further developed the packaging.

Jürgen Kleinrath (49) took over sole management of the Neveon foam group on July 1st. Since March, Kühner and Kleinrath have managed the division on an interim basis.
