The objective is to help the 135 municipalities of Buenos Aires to make more efficient use of public resourcesand thus enhance the indicators of local development and transparency.
During the presentation, López remarked that the province is guided by “a permanent joint principle with the municipalities, marked from the beginning of our management by the governor Axel Kicillo“, and said that “the School of Economics and Management for Local Development is a very important initiative that it has already trained more than 4,500 agents from the 135 municipalities and 32 provincial agencies in the axes of fiscal management, economic and statistical analysis and public policy management”.
“In this offer we now add, together with Banco Provincia, Include Municipalities to advance in training in financial tools,” he continued, and stressed that the aim is “to continue expanding the training offer that allows strengthening municipal efforts and promoting local development, understanding that this is central to achieving a more integrated and inclusive Province”.
The registration period started yesterday and will last until August 2date scheduled for the start of the program, which will run until October 15 next.

It is made up of modules where the different financial products and services that Banco Provincia and Grupo Provincia offer to municipalities will be addressed, as well as topics related to municipal statistics and the financial relationship of the Province and the districts.
The contents will be hosted on the virtual platform of the School of Economics and Management for Local Development of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance: www.escuelamunicipal.economia.gba.gob.ar. When registering, people agree to download the materials and participate in the virtual classes, and after completing the course they will receive a certificate.
