“We are confirming the arrival of a seventh and eighth plane by the end of the yearwith which we will have a fleet of 8 planesexceeding the offer we had when we acquired Norwegian, and our fleet was seven aircraft”, said Pérez Corral.

He explained that “there will be two A320 with an average of four years oldwhich allows us to remain the most modern fleet in the country” and added: “We are extremely pleased to add investment and jobswhich was one of the proposals we made when we started our operations in Argentina”.

In this regard, he stated that the choice of Ezeiza is due to the fact that “the numbers have indicated that this is the best option at the moment”, although he warned that “We always plan to add some new base, like Córdoba, for example”,

“Now we prefer to add to the operational base -he continued-, therefore we are going to exhaust this option for the moment and then with growth, without thinking about adding another base in the interior of the country”.

He stressed that so far they have carried out “5,460 flights in the last six months, which indicates that growth has come to stay with us“.

“In the commercial market, which continues to lack seats in relation to what was before the pandemic, several airlines have stopped flying and demand has increased,” he added.

For his part, Ratinoff pointed out that the two new aircraft will be used for “reinforce the home network, in a market that is still, compared to 2019, below what it was”.

“We are going to use it above all to reinforce the high season and the daily flight from Buenos Aires to Lima that we will have from September and add frequencies in national destinations, to have in many of these destinations, more than one daily offer”, he stressed.

“Passengers are choosing a lot the national destination, the national destiny is being revalued and we are seeing a demand continues to grow and we are pleased continue betting on the country”, he concluded.

In turn, Víctor Mejía remarked that “We see a potential to continue developing the Argentine market and closing the year with a fleet of eight aircraft shows that the model is working.”
