Through a statement, the Neuquén government explained that “if the first five months of the year are taken into account, exports totaled 6,680,000 barrels for a value of $635.6 million“, and added that “the volume exported implies an increase of 317%, compared to the same period of 2021”
On the other hand, the companies that made the largest shipments are Vista Energy (424 thousand barrels), Non-Conventional Hydrocarbon Company (314 thousand barrels), Bandurria Sur Investments (251 thousand barrels) and Shell Argentina (232 thousand barrels).
Meanwhile, gas exports from the province reached 72.6 million cubic meters in May, approximately 2.3 million cubic meters per day, representing 3% of provincial gas sales for that month.
The average price of the shipments was 7.42 dollars per million BTU, reaching a value close to 20 million dollars.
The firms that concentrated exports were Tecpetrol (56%), followed by PanAmerican Energy (27%), Pampa Energía (9%) and YPF (8%).
In the first five months of 2022, 567 million cubic meters were exported, which meant 103.9 million dollars and a volume 620% higher than that observed in 2021.
These export figures allowed the Feden, known as the “countercyclical fund”, to have reached between January and April of this year funds for more than 2,000 million pesos, a figure equivalent to almost 87% of what had been projected for all 2022.
