In this regard, he assured that “It is estimated that 750 thousand tons of smuggled soybeans were sold in Bolivia. The issue is already being investigated” and stated that “smuggling occurs because product values are decoupled from international prices.”
Employment
“The agro It has a registered formal employment of 3.7 million people, which is almost half of the registered formal workers. There is still a lot of unrecorded work,” he noted.
On the other hand, Idígoras remarked that “in the oil industry, 100% of the workers are registered and the average salary is 230,000 pesos.”
