Finally, the fifth place was in the hands of Dreyfus (French and Emirati capitals) that exported 2.9 million tons (9.1%) and the sixth place for the Canadian Viterra (former Glencore) with 2.4 million tons ( 7.3%). In this way, these companies, none of them with national capital, added more than 23 million tons of grains, which represents more than 72% of the total.

Meanwhile, with regard to exports of by-products (flours and oils), in the first semester they accumulated 15.5 million tons, which marks a drop of 26% compared to the same period of the previous year when they were sent abroad. 19.5 million tons.

In this segment the concentration of the business is even more marked, because the Canadian Viterra is the undisputed leader, since the fall of Vicentin and thanks to operating in its production plants, with shipments of 3.3 million tons, which represents 21.6% of the total. Much further back appears a national company, the Aceitera General Deheza company, commanded by the Urquía family, which exported 2.7 million tons (17.6%) and third place went to Molinos Agro, also Argentine, with 1.9 million tons. tons (12.4%). These three companies moved a total of more than 7.9 million tons, which represents more than 50% of the total.

The scenario is practically mirrored in oil exports where not only was there a drop of 27.5%, 4 million tons in the first half of last year, versus 2.9 million tons in the same period this year, but also in the concentration shown by companies. Viterra is once again positioned as the leader with no less than 27% of the total, which represents some 810,600 tons., followed by AGD with 14% (424,700 tons) and Molinos Agro with 12.6% (378,600 tons). Once again these three companies concentrate more than 55% of the business.
