Judicial police believe that it was the father, 67-year-old José Pires, who killed his wife, 65-year-old Olga Pires, under circumstances that have yet to be clarified. PJ admits that the man simulated a scenario in which he was attacked by his 42-year-old son, but this time, prolonged assistance could have been fatal for José Pires.
In the family triangle, the son, who was meanwhile absent from Donai, was an important figure.
The young man will return to the village and be killed by his father (he appeared in the room of the house with a blow to the neck). The SP believes that José set fire to the house and committed suicide. The couple’s son was found to be a drug addict, which is the cause of systematic family disagreements.
