Several houses were damaged after several fires in the village of Wennington, near London, UK.
According to heavenly news, in this village, where about 300 people live, at least one dwelling was completely destroyed.
Around 100 London firefighters were called to the scene and have already declared an “emergency” in response to various incidents on Tuesday in the London metropolitan area, a day marked by record temperatures in the country.
It was necessary to evacuate the inhabitants of the houses, as well as several horses that were in the stables near the fire.
The fire started in the fields around the houses, but spread very quickly, mainly due to the action of the wind.
The cause of the accident is still unknown, as well as whether there are victims.
Images posted on social media also show the intensity of the blaze that erupted near the A2 in Dartford.
“The London Fire Department has just issued a heightened alert in response to a significant increase in the number of fires in the capital today. The situation is critical: the London fire department is under enormous pressure. Please be careful. I am in touch with the commissioner and will share updates when I have them,” London Mayor Sadiq Khan tweeted.
At least 10 different fires broke out in the London area on Tuesday.
