In this context, he said that “there are many problems for access to own house and, for that, there are today more than eight thousand homes under construction throughout the province”, and pointed out that from the government Buenos Aires CREA was launched for those who already have a home, but need to reform or enlarge it.
“It is a program that helps to improve the house for those who earn between one and five minimum wages. It is paid at zero rate between three and seven years. There is a grace period to start paying for three, six or 12 months“, remarked Kicillof, and underlined that “The fee – between 5 and 10 thousand pesos – does not move like the UVA, but is adjusted with the growth of wages.”
He clarified, in this sense, that “the fee can never grow more than 90% of the growth in wages. Salaries will always beat the fee, which will be totally affordable.”

From the government it was specified that this year $20,000 million will be invested to grant up to 50,000 credits and preference will be given to the works of arrangements of floors, walls and ceilings; construction of bathrooms and kitchens; room expansion; adaptation for people with disabilities and more efficient use of energy.
The amounts of the credits will be determined in Housing Units (UVIs), they will be settled in pesos and will have an update of the capital by HogarBA coefficient, establishing that the installment does not exceed 25% of the monthly income of the beneficiary.
