The main focus will be oriented to the analysis of blocks with oil potential, which could be exported to Chile for consumption in the ENAP Refineries, thus seeking to generate energy integration synergies between Chile and Argentina.
Likewise, the alliance will allow ENAP to take advantage of YPF’s extensive experience in the development of unconventional resources through horizontal wells, which has allowed it to optimize exploitation costs and increase the profitability of these projects.
