The Industrial Union and the CCD analyzed proposals for productive development

The CCD delegation was led by its executive director and former Minister of Education of the Nation, Nicholas Trottawho presented the working document to Funes de Rioja.

“The Consensus Initiative aims to be a collective construction tool that allows the generation of agreements in key areas for development. It is a starting point that reflects concerns, tensions and possible prospects for an exit or resolution of the pressing problems facing the country”, explained Trotta.

The “Consensus Initiative” has already been presented for debate between trade union organizations, academic institutions and the Argentine Episcopal Conference, a meeting that was headed by Monsignor Oscar Ojea Quintana. From the CCD they will continue with the presentation rounds in multiple entities, associations and organizations with the intention of achieving the greatest possible social agreement for the proposals.

“We thank the UIA and its president for their willingness to receive us and to be able to unfold a common work agenda. Our Initiative presents axes that take a position, but in the same way they invite to debate, and mainly to achieve consensus between different political and social sectors of the country”, remarked Trotta.

Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, secretary of the Executive Committee of the UIA and Diego Coatz, executive director of the UIA, also participated in the meeting.
