With 21 business days of activity, July had the peculiarity of registering the stoppage of production at some terminals due to the winter break and the adaptation of their production lines.
In this context, the automotive companies produced in July 44,033 units, 9% less compared to June and 37.9% higher compared to the 31,935 units that were manufactured in July of last year.
In the accumulated of the first seven months of 2022, the sector produced a total of 287,731 vehicles, that is, 27.6% more about the 225,515 units that occurred in the same period of 2021.
Continuing with the July records, the Adefa report revealed that the volume of vehicles exported was 22,937 units, reflecting a decrease of 28.1% compared to June, or 1% compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the accumulated January-July, the automotive terminals exported 162,986 units, 24.4% more than the shipments registered in the same period last year.
Finally, in wholesale sales, the report showed that in July the automotive sector as a whole sold 29,432 units to the dealer network, 21% less than deliveries in June and 20.8% more than the volume of the same month last year.
Between January and July, a total of 210,665 units were sold to the network, 7% above the 196,795 units in the same period of 2021.
