The projections of the sector for this campaign reach some 124,200 hectares, which represents a growth of 20% compared to the 103,500 that this crop covered in the 2021/2022 season.
This week the late or second corn harvest continued, reaching 75% of the sown area, with a week-to-week progress of 15 points and a delay of 17 compared to the same time last season.

The average yields achieved since the beginning of the harvest until now ranged from 60 to 85 quintals per hectare, with minimums of 30 and maximums of 95 to 105 quintals.
As usual, the best yields were obtained in the southern departments of the study area (San Martín and San Jerónimo), where they fluctuated between 75 and 105 quintals.
In the center (Castilian, Las Colonias, La Capital, San Cristóbal and San Justo departments) they ranged from 70 to 100 quintals, while in the north (9 de Julio, Vera, General Obligado and northwest of San Javier) they varied between 45 and 70 quintals on average.
All the cornfields were found in state of physiological maturitydepending on its collection of the climatic characteristicswith few hours of sun and high percentages of environmental or grain humidity.

The health aspect in general was very good, without the presence of pests or diseases.
The cotton harvest is also being carried out, with an advance of 95% of the 55,000 hectares planted in this campaign and a progress of 3 percentage points in the week.
The average yield achieved in the harvested lots fluctuated between 8 and 11 quintals in the least productive lots and between 14 and 15 quintals in the best ones.
