The CAC supported the measures announced by Sergio Massa

In that sense, they pointed out that “they are not enough to solve the serious difficulties that the country is suffering”, but that they are “tending to favor the expansion of exports”, a “fundamental element to provide external solvency to our productive structure”.

“The policies presented yesterday, understanding that are aimed at remedying, at least in part, some of the persistent pitfalls that characterize the national economy,” the CAC assured in a statement released this afternoon in which it added, “in the current situation -and together with the specific measures to strengthen reserves-, they will provide greater certainty to the financial markets” .

Support for fiscal announcements and social plans

In the same way, the Chamber supported the fiscal announcements and the objective of converting social plans into genuine work, debt actions and investment incentives, since “they will help boost activity and job creation”.

“The Entity is aware that the many ills that have dragged on for so many years, and that have led to a stagnation of more than a decade, will not be resolved overnight,” said the CACwhile maintaining that they are measures that “must be complemented by many others aimed at significantly reducing the “Argentine cost””.

The “excessive tax burden, outdated regulations, logistical shortcomings, etc.” are factors that, for the CAC, “undermine the competitiveness of companies and, consequently, limit our nation’s development possibilities.”

“The CAC accompanies the announcements of the new minister and advocates that inconsequential conflicts be set aside, in order to enable success in management. At the same time, it expresses its willingness to work with the team headed by Dr. Massa, for the benefit of the represented sector and the productive activity as a whole”, he concluded.
