In the last meeting of the Council, which was on March 16, the new amounts of the minimum wage and unemployment benefits were agreed upon, and the possibility of “reviewing” what was agreed upon was also established. In that instance, an increase of 45 percent was resolved on the basis of the month of March in four tranches.
At the request of a group of deputies from the Front of All (FdT), The Government decided in May to advance the validity of the increase in the minimum, vital and mobile salary that passed from June 1 of 45,540 pesos.

For its part, the minimum and maximum amounts of the unemployment benefit were 13,292 and 22,153 pesos, according to the measure signed by Minister Moroni and endorsed by the former Minister of Economy Martin Guzman.

The National Council for Employment, Productivity and the Minimum, Vital and Mobile Wage is chaired by the Minister of Labor, Claudio Moroni, and convenes 32 members, 16 from the workers and 16 from the employers.
