The search for a 33-year-old man who went missing at Montargil Dam today was suspended at 9:23 p.m., never found, and resumed on Sunday morning, Civil Protection said.
Speaking to the Lusa news agency, Portalegre’s District Relief Command (CDOS) source did not specify a time when the operation would resume, but said it would be “early morning”.
The man, according to a GNR source also contacted by Lusa, is the father of a five-year-old girl who was pulled alive from the dam this afternoon with serious injuries.
