Previously, YPF had made new values ​​starting at 0 yesterday at all the service stations in its network, depending on the evolution of the variables that affect the formation of fuel prices.

The new reference prices estimated in the city of Buenos Aires for the main fuel producer in the country (whose values ​​are usually reference for the rest of the companies) were $130.50 per liter of super gasoline (until Saturday, $120.30); premium gasoline $159.80 ($147.30); diesel $135.70 ($128.10) and premium diesel $185.50 ($175).

For its part, Shell set as reference values ​​in the Buenos Aires district $130.50 for a liter of super gasoline (previously $120.30); $159.80 for premium gasoline (before $147.30); $135.70 for diesel (previously $128.10); and $185.50 for premium diesel (previously $175).

Among the reasons for the price increase arranged by YPF, the time elapsed since the last gasoline price adjustment, which was recorded on May 9, and the 19% increase in bioethanol during the period stand out.

Of the total increase in gasoline, approximately two points correspond to the compensation for the increase in the price of ethanol, while the accumulated devaluation since the last gasoline adjustment is 16%.

For its part, biodiesel increased its price by 6.7% since the last increase in diesel oil carried out on June 16 and the accumulated devaluation is 10.5% since that date.

“After this adjustment, we will continue to monitor the evolution of the variables that affect price formation, always taking into account the particularities of the country’s macroeconomic context and the international reality,” YPF said in a brief statement.

In the same sense, he stressed that the oil company will continue “making the greatest productive and logistical efforts to sustain supply in the national market in a context of sustained historical demand records.”
