On Thursday morning, two men, aged 40 and 65, went into cardiac arrest after inhaling gas while repairing a well in Agueda. As a result, the 40-year-old man died in the hospital.
Around 12:00 pm, Agueda firefighters were given a warning to conduct a rescue event on Main Avenue, in Alombada, in Macinhata do Vouga.
The Aveiro Ambulance and Resuscitation Team, the emergency ambulance and the GNR of Águeda were also mobilized.
for what CM it turned out that the owner of the well had passed out inside the well, and the son and the worker tried unsuccessfully to get him out. The son of the first victim went for help and, returning to the scene, also found an unconscious worker in the well.
A team of INEM psychologists was called to the scene to help the family members.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Aveiro in a very serious condition.
