The data on the apparent consumption of supplies for construction in July 2022 showed, in relation to the same month of the previous year, increases of 22.6% in ceramic floors and coverings; 18.4% in manufactured concrete and 16.9% in paints for construction.
Likewise, increases of 16.1% were noted in ceramic sanitary ware; 13.8% in the rest of the supplies (includes taps, seamless steel tubes and glass for construction); 10.9% in plasterboard; 9.9% in portland cement; 8.6% in granitic and calcareous mosaics; 7.8% in round iron and steel for construction; 6.9% in plaster; and 5.2% in limes.
Meanwhile, INDEC added that casualties of 13.8% in asphalt; and 12.5% in hollow bricks. If the variations of the accumulated during the seven months of 2022 as a whole are analyzed, in relation to the same period of the previous year, increases of 25.2% were observed in the rest of the supplies (includes taps, seamless steel tubes and building glass); 16.5% in manufactured concrete and 11.7% in round iron and steel for construction.
They also registered decreases of 11.3% in portland cement; 10.8% in asphalt; 9.6% in plasterboard; 9.3% in plaster; 7.7% in granitic and calcareous mosaics; 7.4% in ceramic sanitary ware; 5.8% in limes; 2.7% in ceramic floors and coverings; and 2.0% in paints for construction. For its part, there was a drop of 6.9% in hollow bricks.
