“Saturday Investigation” by CMTV, has a new face. Nuno Thiago Pinto, director of the Sábado magazine, is making his debut today with the presentation of a format that continues to integrate the main information space, CM Jornal 20H. “The obligation of the Saturday Investigation is to keep CMTV the best of investigative journalism. We will have investigative reports on a variety of topics, which can range from the most social issues to justice, corruption and healthcare,” says the new director of the News Journal. “This is a very exciting challenge. This is a big challenge, which I have never done, the presentation of the program, but I accept it with great enthusiasm,” he concludes.
Today’s Investigation Saturday will feature the case of students who failed to complete higher education courses. “Desperate Scientists” reveals the story of a group of young people who received merit scholarships valid for four years, awarded by a private company, that were canceled without any explanation. The company that appointed them left behind a trail of debt and creditors who have already filed for insolvency.
In addition, the Saturday Inquiry reports two Iraqis who posed as refugees in Portugal and were charged by the State Department with war crimes and terrorism committed in Iraq. “War criminals” is the title of a report that exclusively shows images of one of them in Iraq in an Islamic State propaganda video.
