Transport leads the Active Transparency ranking

The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) spreads from bimonthly mode the transparency index of the National State, where, in relation to the amount of online information for citizen consultation, the Ministry of Transport remains the first of the ministries in the ranking.

In this line, within the best qualifications in transparency and access to information, there is also the National Commission for Transport Regulation (7), and Argentine Trains Infrastructure (fifteen).

Active Transparency Ranking

With the aim of guaranteeing the right of access to public information, promoting active transparency measures, the AAIP surveys bimonthly the data linked to the use of public resources and the patrimony of the civil servants in open format of all the dependent organisms of the National State.

Items taken into account for measurement:

  1. Procedure for requests for access to public information
  2. Authorities and staff
  3. pay scale
  4. Declared jurisdictions
  5. Buying and Hiring
  6. Budget
  7. Audits
  8. Subsidies and other transfers

In this way, the level of compliance with other decentralized bodies of the National Public Administration, companies and universities.

In regards to Ministry of Transportation of the Nationthe work carried out by the management of Access to Information and Transparencyheaded by Sebastián Malis, whose primary responsibility is implement policies, programs and actions tending to guarantee the right of access to public information, ethics and transparency in the management of the Jurisdiction.
