The price of gas is rising and many people are worried about a cold winter. In the first half of 2022, more than 600,000 of the devices were sold in Germany. The fact that the devices do not have a long service life and thus cause a lot of electronic waste in a short time and are also harmful to the climate is not the only problem. Since the price of electricity is also rising, according to energy experts, heating with electricity is currently around 50 percent more expensive than heating with gas. The increased use in this country would even ensure that the price of electricity continues to rise. In addition, there can be a local overload of the power grid if numerous fan heaters are used at the same time. So anyone who wants to get through the winter with a fan heater saves neither money nor energy.
