What clothing brands participate in the agreement
Among the signing brands are Adidas, Nike, 47 Street, Ay not Dead, Prune, Quicksilver, Las Pepas, Black Label, Grimoldi, Kosiuko and Portsaid.
The first negotiations with the sector had begun last week. In August, the prices of clothing and footwear increased by 9.9%, above the general level of inflation for the month of 7.0%.
In the year, consumer prices in the sector increased by 71.9% and another 109% since August last year, almost 30 percentage points more than inflation in that period.
Last March the Government had signed a similar agreement, which reached the reduction of 15 models of clothing, for four months, with a 30 percent increase compared to the prices of the previous winter season.
Some of the brands that would sign the agreement with the Government are Zara, Nike, Lacoste, Chekky, Grisino, Cuesta Blanca, Rapsodia, Prune, Ay not dead, 47 Street, Levis, Bensimon, Jazmin Chebar, Mimo and Maria Cher, among other.
