Economy formalized the launch of Argentina Programa 4.0: what it consists of

The new stage of this initiative was recently anticipated by the Minister of the Economy, Sergio Massa, and was formalized through the Resolution 630/2022published in the Official bulletin.

The The Knowledge Economy Secretariat will be the authority for the application and interpretation of the program, and may dictate the rules of an operational nature that are necessary during its implementation, as provided.

Economy highlighted that, until now, the “Argentina Program” has achieved the training and certification in programming of 1,100 people; now, the goal is for another 70,000 people to be trained by the end of 2023.

The Treasury Palace also stressed that in the software sector, in particular, and in the rest of the activities of the knowledge economy in general, the availability of human resources “is central to sustaining the growth of the industry.”

For this reason, he considered it convenient to give the Program a greater federal scope and expand the academic offer to generate more technological employment.

“By expanding the academic offers, summoning both National and Provincial Universities, as well as other training centers, both public and private, with the aim of expanding the labor market linked to the development of programmers related to software, it is possible to contribute to the training of 70,000 people in the technology industry sector,” he said.

In this sense, the Ministry approved through the Resolution the Collaboration Framework Agreement model to be signed with the National Universities, implementing the institutional channel in which the joint actions for the expansion of the Program will be inserted and developed.
