Agriculture detailed the operational guidelines of the Export Increase Program

East Friday, September 30, the validity of the program ends known as the soybean dollar that offers $200 for each US currency obtained through the export of the oilseed. Last Friday the Minister of Economy, Serge Massa, celebrated the performance of the program: “The expected goal was reached 9 days before the end of the program: US$6 billion were settled from September 1 to 23, the largest foreign exchange settlement in the last 10 years,” tweeted the Minister. He also confirmed the end of the program, despite requests to support it from the sector. The initial objective was that throughout the month they would be liquidated $5 billionHowever, the expectation is around the sale of US$7 billion.

Between the operating guidelinesthe portfolio detailed that:

  • The primary and secondary settlements of grains whose date of “settlement of the operation” is between the entry into force of the program, as established by Decree No. 576/22 and September 30, 2022 will be covered by the benefit of the program provided that the issuance of the settlements is not later than October 2, 2022.
  • The Sworn Declarations of Sales Abroad (DJVE) may be registered until 11 a.m. on October 3, 2022, and the rights must be canceled up to 48 hours after the declared date.
  • The settlement of foreign currency corresponding to the payment of operations may be arranged until 3:00 p.m. on September 30.
  • Shipping permits will have an extension of 60 days from the expiration of the initial period.
