On the other hand, the Chamber explained that producers, collectors and cooperatives sold around 14 million tons of soybeans to exporters in 20 business days in September.
This situation generated an increase of 427% in relation to September of the same month (2021), and an increase of 333% in relation to the average of the previous 5 months, since the harvest of the present agricultural campaign began.
Regarding the records of export contracts, there were DJVEs for more than 12 million tons between soybeans, flour and soybean oil, representing a total value of more than 6,000 million dollars.
Lastly, the business entity has expressed its support for this policy in recent weeks, which “avoids continuing to punish the agro-industrial sector.”
“This shows that lowering the tax burden in the soybean complex or improving the exchange rate generates an unparalleled economic movement,” concluded the business entity.
