“Misiones celebrates the award of the price of yerba mate established by the national government,” Finance Minister Adolfo Safrán assured today through his social networks.
“We celebrate this measure that accompanies the joint work that the National Institute of Yerba Mate (INYM) and the provincial government carry out to strengthen the yerba mate activity, but especially the producers and tareferos, who are the weakest link in the productive chain”, affirmed the official.
“The price established in the award implies a strong support to the yerba mate producers, who will receive a fair price for their production, something that will encourage them to continue taking care of the missionary farms and their production, generating sources of work for thousands of tareferos, who in turn, they will also receive an appropriate remuneration for their work”, remarked the provincial minister.
“I also want to highlight that the decision by the award established by the Secretary of Agriculture, Juan José Bahillo, has the support of both Matías Tombolini, in his role as Secretary of Domestic Trade, and Sergio Massa, Minister of Economy,” he said. Safran.
On the other hand, he highlighted the multiple initiatives promoted by the missionary government to “care for and stimulate primary production and its added value.”
Among other measures, he highlighted the lines of credit type “warrant with discounted rate presented together with Banco Nación, which has already granted credits for more than $700 million in less than 60 days; or the Yerba Mate Health Coverage Regime, which was presented together with the INYM in April of this year”, he finally highlighted.
