Martín Guzmán reappears to talk about the debt with Joseph Stiglitz

The meeting, which will be broadcast live, will be held at Columbia University, prior to the week of annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank. According to the organizers, The conversation will be moderated by journalist and editor of Bloomberg News, Sydney Maki.

The program also includes a comparative debate on the situation of the sovereign debt in Lebanon, which is currently negotiating a new agreement with the IMF, with the economic journalist Viviane Akikiand in Zambia, which is restructuring its debt under the Common Framework of the G20/Paris Club, with the expert Muchimba Siamachoka.

The event is organized by the Initiative for Policy Dialogue from Columbia University, together with FES Argentina and FES New York, within the framework of the global project “Who Pays the Bill”from the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, which seeks to discuss the urgent need for change in the international financial architecture.
