Seasonal prices soared 11.7% and, according to the Indec, they were driven by the rise in clothing, vegetables, tubers and legumes, and fruits. For its part, the Core CPI rose 5.5% and finally, regulated prices grew by around 4.5%.
In the geographical division, the northeast and the pampas region were the only regions that were above the general division with a monthly increase of 6.8% and 6.3%, respectively.
As for the biggest rises in food, drinks and other items for the GBA, it topped the list the round tomato with an increase of 46.5%, as the kilo rose to $306.69 from $209.39. Subsequently, there is the kilo of onion, with an increase of 27.4% (from $273.74 to $348.66).
Behind them stood butter per 200 grams that increased by 23.9%, from $343.64 to $425.81. They also rose strongly: the potato (+17.6%), the pumpkin (+16.1%), and the sweet potato (+15.4%)all per kilo.
