For its part, the general level of the Basic Producer Price Index (PPI) registered a rise of 6.4% last monthas a consequence of the rise of 7.8% in “Primary products” and 5.8% in “Manufactured products and electricity”.
In the division by sectors, in Primary productsthe one that rose the most during September was “Non-metallic mineral products” with 8.5%. At the same time, “Manufactured goods and electrical energy” grew 5.7%, and “Manufactured products” rose 5.6%. And within them stood out: Impressions and reproduction of recordings with 15.4 and Tobacco with 13.7%.
As for the year-on-year change, Primary products rose 74.2%, Manufactured and electrical energy grew 80.5%, and Manufactured products climbed 80.2%. Within this latter sector, Garments made of textile materials rose 112.1%, and transport 111%.

In line with inflation, the Cost of Construction rose less intensely compared to the previous month. Thus, it stood at 7% for September, from 7.2% in August. The interannual variation was 73.1%, while the accumulated figure for the year was 60.2%.
Materials, for their part, rose 5.9%, labor grew 8.2%, and general expenses rose 6.8% monthly. Within the items, the greatest growth was for: plasterwork (+9%), others (+8.4%), masonry (+8%), and sanitary and fire-fighting installations (+7.8%).
Regarding the monthly variation by group of materials, the ones that increased the most during September were: Taps and stopcocks (+15.1%), Metal products for sanitary and electrical installations (+10.6%), and Insulating products (+9.3%).
