During September, 12,550 garments were registered, a figure close to that of the same month last year (+1.4%) and somewhat less than that of last August (-9.8%). The share of total transfers fell to 36% (4pp drop) and was below the annual average of 36.9%.

Savings plans accounted for 55.3% of operations during the first 9 months of the year.

After the amount pledged on used vehicles reached 6% of transfers in June, July and August, in September this figure returned to values ​​closer to the annual average (5.3%).

The year-on-year variation was -14.2%, although it is important to mention that September 2021 was the month with the most overused garments that year.

Banks continue to gain space in this part of the market and went from having 39.8% of operations in 2021 to 55.1% this year.

For its part, Kavak reported that in the third quarter of the year, the proportion of financed operations of used vehicles in the market was 5.7%. This represented some 24,353 units of the total registered operations.. In that same period, Kavak financed an average of 16% of its operations, tripling the financing penetration of the market.
