The company presented its quarterly results on October 26, with outstanding aspects. reported net earnings of USD 76M, exceeding market expectations. Sales were USD 334M, increasing by 91% year-on-year.
Vista produced gas and oil equivalent to 50,669 barrels of oil per daywith an increase of 26% compared to the same period in 2021.
Why is it the best action?

During this year, Vista is by far the best action. It far outperforms YPF and Transportadora de Gas del Sur, which have already accumulated truly impressive returns. Vista is superlative.
Central Puerto and Pampa continue the ranking with returns of 47% and 20%, showing a very good year. Then, the banking sector is the one that differs from the rest. Banco Supervielle and Galicia accumulate negative returns (-5% and -17%, respectively) in 2022. Without a doubt, the banks have other perspectives than the rest of Argentine stocks.
Since last year I have been talking about the potential of this company. Even this year too. Vista continues at a steady pace, with truly extraordinary returns.
Is it still a good idea? The company has solid fundamentals, is growing steadily and is trading at “cheap” valuation multiples. But without a doubt, buying Vista now is not the same as it was several months ago. It has already had a furious rally and it is likely that it can take a short-term breather, especially knowing that it has already presented balance.
It went from being, in full covid crisis, a company with a value of USD 180M to currently have a valuation greater than USD 1,100M. Brilliant performance of, for now, the best action of Argentina.
