In September, the month of Banco Provincia’s Bicentennial, 6.3 million male and female clients (77%) used Internet Banking Province, BIP Móvil or DNI Account, while only 1.8 million (23%) operated only in person .
In December 2019, this relationship was reversed: 63% operated in branches and only 37% did so digitally.
Today, the most used channel is the Cuenta DNI digital wallet, which has more than 5.6 million users, of which 47% linked up with the Bank through the app.
The mobile application was chosen in April 2020 by almost 1.4 million people to open a savings account from home and thus collect the Emergency Family Income.
In 2021, it was consolidated as a payment tool in 50,000 points of sale throughout the province and since March of this year it has allowed more than 167,000 young people between the ages of 13 and 17 to start operating with the bank from their cell phones.
A fact that reveals, according to the report presented by the bank, the great acceptance of the digital wallet is that in September eight out of 10 transfers made by Banco Provincia customers were through DNI Account.
