Juan José Cruces, Researcher at the Center for Research in Finance and Rector of the UTDT, explained that “in the simple average of Buenos Aires, Rosario and Córdoba, prices fall 2.9% in dollars and rise 0.1% in adjusted pesos. by inflation” while if the region is analyzed “excluding Argentina, in Latin America prices fall 0.9% in dollars and fall 1.7% in local currency adjusted for inflation.”
For its part, The report details other relevant data:
- Montevideo is the city with the most expensive m2 in the region with a price of US$3,054.
- Guadalajara (Mexico) reports the highest increase in the value of m2 in dollars in the entire region (17.9%).
- The cheapest real estate in the region is in Bogotá and costs US$1,108 per m2. It is followed by Quito with US$1,279/m2, Córdoba with US$1,279/m2 and finally Rosario with US$1,490 m/2.
On the other hand, prices in Córdoba fell 0.8% in dollars and rose 2.3% in local currency adjusted for inflation. The greatest falls were in Santiago de Chile and Bogotá, where prices in dollars fell 23.7% and 18.2% respectively.
