Daniela Vlad will start her new job on February 1, 2023, the contract runs for three years with an option to extend for another two years. Vlad is currently Managing Director of the Industrial Coatings business at Dutch AkzoNobel. Before that she held various management positions at Shell and Phillips.
OMV CEO Alfred Stern will continue to be responsible for the chemical business until Vlad takes office as a member of the Executive Board. In the Chemicals & Materials area, OMV, through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world’s leading providers of polyolefin solutions and is a European market leader in the area of basic chemicals, plant nutrients and plastics recycling.
