During the event they recorded four great sales peaks distributed among the three days in which it was developed. The first took place at the beginning of CyberMonday, on October 31 at 00:10, with more than 13,000 sales in one hour. The second and largest was recorded on the same day at 11:00 a.m., with more than 22,500 sales in 60 minutes. On Tuesday, the peak came at 10:00 a.m., with a total of 15,000 sales in one hour. Finally, the last one happened on Wednesday, November 2 at 10 p.m., with more than 14,000 sales per hour.
Buyer Profile
How do you receive your products? In this new edition of CyberMonday, the 82.4% of total sales were sent home through logistics companies, while the 17.6% opted for the withdrawal in physical stores or other points.
What payment methods do you choose? The 71% of sales were paid through Credit cardswhere payments in 1 and 6 installments without interestwith a 64% Y 13% of purchases respectively. The second most chosen option was the bank transfer, which represented the 19% on total sales.
Where do they buy from? Regarding the squares in which they are located, more than half of the consumers (52.5%) are found in CABA and GBA, followed by Buenos Aires (13.8%)Cordoba (7.8%)Santa Fe (6.9%). The rest of the country represents a 19% of the squares.
Free shipping sales: 1 out of 2 sales They were made with the option of free shipping throughout the national territory.
Sales with promotions: the 75% of the total sales had some type of discount, promotional coupon or some type of rebate. The average discount was 25% and the 3×2.
What were the most outstanding products?
In the last hours, Tiendanube detected that the star products of each category were:
- Dress: Underwear, slippers and seasonal summer clothing. The total number of items sold in this category was more than 290,000 products.
- Health & Beauty: sunscreens and tanning lotions, along with kits of facial and body care products. The total number of products sold in this category was more than 82,000 products.
- Deco and Home: Robot vacuum cleaners, lounge chairs, mattresses and box springs. The total number of items sold in this category was more than 40,000 products.
“Once again, the Clothing category is the most chosen by consumers when making their purchases with discounts. In this edition of CyberMonday, we saw how Argentines prepare in advance for the holiday season by buying summer clothes and taking advantage of promotions on products related to skin and sun care, and even lounge chairs. Additionally, we concluded that this day of discounts was consolidated as a great opportunity to renovate the home with record sales in products such as mattresses and box springs”, adds Radavero.
