“The idea is that the beekeepers of the region can divide their productions in the same place, with the corresponding labeling and safety procedures, this project continues to progress,” the Undersecretary of Agriculture, Diego Gordon, told Télam.
“Being able to take this new step will allow not only to give added value to honey by complying with safety guidelines, but also to continue promoting a space where small beekeepers in the Andean Region develop a spirit of cooperative work,” Gordon stressed.
“That they can start a comprehensive path of growth in the commercialization of their honeys and in the incorporation of new knowledge that identifies them as a region,” added the official.
“It is very important to be able to advance in this and other beekeeping actions, all within the framework of the Río Negro Beekeeping Council, a space that we were able to form last July with great desire, and that daily challenges us to continue working inter-institutionally and with the post producers of Rio Negro beekeeping”, concluded Gordon.
