In this framework, Royon referred to the opportunities of the energy transition process in the country, and highlighted the potential that Argentina has in renewable energy.

He also mentioned the growth possibilities of the biofuels and gas sector, highlighting Vaca Muerta as the second largest shale gas reserve in the world.

Construction SMEs

On the other hand, the secretary, accompanied by Yanotti, participated in the National Congress of Construction SMEs together with the Mendoza governor, Rodolfo Suárez.

In that meeting, Royon expressed that “When we think of the growth of renewables we are thinking of the growth of our industrial sector”, this enables SMEs to join with a greater participation “in the opportunities offered by energy diversification”.

He affirmed that the Secretariat is working so that “this insertion of national technology becomes a reality in all areas related to the expansion of the local matrix, with more SMEs dedicated to the manufacture of the components required by the different sources of generation renewable,” he concludes.
