Economy will launch financing program for producers who did not pay soybeans with dollars

The Ministry of Agriculture specified that the Compensation Program for Small and Medium Soybean and Corn Producers, which will be financed with funds from the Export Increase Program, seeks to accompany the development and improvement of the conditions of this productive segment.

Massa stressed that “we are fulfilling the commitment that the fund raised by the soybean export promotion program returns to the agricultural sector to generate an increase in our production and exports for next year, but also to protect and benefit to the sectors that could not participate in the program because they are the smallest producers and the first to sell”.

For his part, the Secretary of Agriculture, Juan Jose Bahillo, affirmed that “the fund from the proceeds of the Exporter Increase Program returns to the field to benefit small and medium-sized producers with a contribution that represents 40% of the investment they should make in seeds and fertilizers, to accompany them to increase planting of the next agricultural season on one million hectares”.

Who will it be intended for?

In this sense, the benefit to be received for each soybean and/or corn producer will be up to $6,500 per declared soybean hectare and $20,000 per declared corn hectare. In addition, the Program may allocate up to the sum of $15,000,000,000 to the established benefits, subject to budgetary availability of the Financial Administrative Service.

In this way, it establishes that all those soybean and/or corn producers who are registered in the Simplified Agricultural Information System (SISA), and have declared in the Simplified Agricultural Information System (SISA), until the 30th of September 2022 inclusive, for the 2021/2022 campaign, an area for soybean cultivation of up to 400 hectares, and/or an area for corn cultivation of up to 100 hectares.

It should be noted that producers interested in receiving the benefit must have submitted the information corresponding to their stock/stocks in the “Confirmed” status in the Simplified Agricultural Information System (SISA).

How can you access the new benefit?

To access it, it will be necessary to expressly request the benefit under the Program, authorize the AFIP to provide the Application Authority with the corresponding information; indicate a Uniform Bank Code (CBU) in your name so that the application authority makes the bank transfer of the benefit; Inform an email that will function as an electronic address for the purposes of communications that the Enforcement Authority may eventually require to send you within the framework of the Program.

This requirement must be completed within a period of 15 administrative business days from the publication of this document in the Official Gazette, since after the established period has elapsed, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries will provide the AFIP with the list of requesting producers, and the latter will provide the first list and information corresponding to each of those who meet the established requirements.

According to the information provided by the AFIP, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries will approve the list of beneficiaries and will determine the corresponding benefits.
