Economy formalizes program to assist soybean and corn producers: the requirements

The initiative came into effect from the Resolution 862/2022published this Monday in the Official bulletin.

The Program was created within the scope of the Ministry of Agriculture and, according to the provisions, all those soybean and/or corn producers who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries:

  • Be registered in the Simplified Agricultural Information System (SISA).
  • Having declared in the Simplified Agricultural Information System (SISA), up to and including September 30, 2022, for the 2021/2022 campaign, an area for soybean cultivation of up to 400 hectares, and/or an area for soybean cultivation. maize up to 100 hectares.
  • Not having made soybean sales between September 5 and 30, 2022, nor soybean sales under the terms of Resolution 43 of the Ministry of Agriculture of last September 26.
  • Not having soybean stock/stocks as of September 30, 2022 inclusive.
  • The benefit to be received by each soybean and/or corn producer will be up to an amount of $6,500 per hectare of declared soybean and $20,000 per hectare of corn.

In addition, the Program may allocate up to $15,000 million to the benefits established by the Resolution, subject to budgetary availability of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The amount of the benefits will be made during the course of December 2022 by bank transfer to the Uniform Bank Codes (CBU) declared by the producers.according to the official text.

Producers interested in receiving the benefit must, among other things:

  1. Have presented in the “Confirmed” status in the Simplified Agricultural Information System (SISA) the information corresponding to your stock/existences.
  2. Expressly request the benefit within the framework of the Program, through the AFIP website.
  3. Authorize the AFIP to provide the Application Authority (Ministry of Agriculture) with the corresponding information.

Economy justified the creation of this new Program by pointing out that there is a segment of small and medium producers “who, having commercialized their soybean production prior to the implementation of the system implemented by the aforementioned Decree No. 576/2022, thus contributing indirectly to the generation of genuine income for the National State, have been prevented from accessing the benefits of the Export Increase Program”.
