In this meeting, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. next Thursday, “the evolution of the minimum wages for workers in Casas Particulares and analysis of the additional for unfavorable areas” will be evaluated.
So far this year, the wages of staff in private homes have accumulated an increase of 70%, well below inflation for the period, which climbed to 88%.
Since November 1, the last tranche of the sector’s parity agreement has been in force, which provides for an increase of 9% per hour worked and per month.
In this activity, an additional 30% is applied to the salaries of each of the categories for the personnel who provide services in the provinces of La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego and in the district Buenos Aires from Carmen de Patagones. Also, for two years, seniority has been recognized, at 1% per year.
Two days before the plenary session of private houses, a new meeting of the Salary Council will be held, where an adjustment of the minimum salary will be defined, which was also greatly delayed due to inflation.
