In the accumulated between January and September, the province of Buenos Aires once again led the positions with $87,063 million, followed by the city of the same name with $79,370 million.

In any case, in the case of CABA, the figures do not necessarily reflect the geographical distribution of the works, since many companies have their headquarters in the district but carry out their operations in the interior.

For example, in CABA, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Salta, Catamarca and La Rioja there were interannual variations of more than 75%, while transfers for the provinces of La Pampa, Mendoza, Buenos Aires, Neuquén, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Chaco and San Juan grew less than 35%.

Likewise, in the case of Jujuy, Río Negro, San Luis and Córdoba, the interannual variation was negative.

On the other hand, current and capital transfers to provinces and municipalities totaled $589,173 million in the accumulated January-September, 55.8% more than the amount accrued in the same period of 2021.

Current transfers increased 70.2% (equivalent to an additional $175,850 million) and capital transfers registered a year-on-year increase of 27.7% (equivalent to an additional $35,278 million).

In nominal terms, current transfers to provinces and municipalities totaled $426,344 million, and were assigned to internal relations ($177,941 million), education ($99,688 million), health ($56,423 million), social security ($50,946 million) ), promotion and social assistance ($29,886 million) and other functions ($11,459 million).

Direct real investment is the one destined to the acquisition or production on its own account of capital goods, such as buildings, constructions or equipment that are used to produce other goods and services and are not exhausted in the first use.

The most benefited provinces

In descending order, real direct investment in the period January-September 2022 was distributed as follows:

1.Buenos Aires: $87,063 million, with an interannual increase of 16.6%.

2.-CABA: $79.370 million (178%)

3.- La Rioja: $29,194 million (75.1%)

4.- Córdoba: $19,913 million (-4.2%)

5.- Entre Ríos: $18,605 million (45%)

6.- Santa Fe: $17,191 million (40.2%)

7.- Chaco: $15,979 million (29.1%)

8.- National: $13,778 million (37%)

9.- Salta: $13,412 million (88.9%)

10.- Formosa: $12,394 million (64.9%)

11.- Tucumán: $10,766 million (140.4%)

12.- Santiago del Estero: $9,528 million (98.4%)

13.- Current: $8,776 million (70.2%)

14.- Mendoza: $8,724 million (16.2%)

15.- Missions: $7,593 million (43.2%)

16.- Neuquén: $7,152 million (18.1%)

17.- Chubut: $6,050 million (20.6%)

18.- Río Negro: $5,869 million (-11%)
