Alberto Fernández had lunch with Sergio Massa at the Ministry of Economy

During the work meeting the President and the head of the Palacio de Hacienda “they reviewed the economic agenda” and then they toured some offices of the Ministry.

On the agenda was the announcement of the soybean dollar. In addition, they discussed the activity led by Massa at the Peugeot plant, in Palomar, where they celebrated the departure of the 100,000 unit of the Peugeot 208.

During the act, the Minister of Economy announced that “in 2023 the incremental export of cars and auto parts will not pay withholdings.”

“This car today is at 42% national integration and we expect it to end in 2024 with 50%, because we want more Argentine work on the cars we export,” Massa emphasized.

The meeting between the head of state and the Tigrense man took place moments before the national government formalized the launch of a new soybean dollar that will be implemented from next Monday.

“The soybean dollar for September is reopened with an inflation update. From Monday to December 31 there will be a wheel the same as that of September,” they specified. In addition, they detailed that the agreement between the Government and the cereal companies has “a guaranteed and signed floor of 3000 million dollars” of liquidation.

In this regard, they indicated that there will be “promotion financing for regional economies; subsidies to the poultry, bovine, dairy, and pork value chains to increase production; and a fund to maintain the value of family allowances.”
