Samsung announced its goal of consolidating the industrial project in Argentina, and for that, together with Visuar, they made investments this year to improve productivity and adapt the models currently manufactured to other markets in the region.
As part of this strategy, they developed the production of Bespoke, the first line of premium refrigerators made in the country, and the national manufacture of 8 new front-facing washing machine models with A+++ energy efficiency.
Thus, the category of locally manufactured front-loading washing machines reached 80% of models that include Digital Inverter technology.
Evolution
Visuar began distributing Samsung products in 2006. Later, in 2013, it inaugurated its washing machine plant in the Cañuelas Industrial Park. Later, Samsung microwaves and vacuum cleaners were added to this production line.
In January 2016, the construction of the Distribution Center within the industrial complex was completed and, at the end of that same year, the construction of the No Frost Samsung refrigerator plant began, which was inaugurated in September 2017. Currently, Visuar produces Samsung washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves and vacuum cleaners.
Alejandro Schvartz added: “In 2023 we celebrate 10 years since the inauguration of the first industrial washing machine plant in Cañuelas. In all these years we were able to triple our productive infrastructure by expanding to other categories of household appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves and vacuum cleaners”.
