On this occasion, the business leaders took stock of the different initiatives developed by the Chamber and outlined the lines of action to promote national tourism and the arrival of international tourists to the country in 2023.

“We are ending this 2022 with a positive balance for our industryand this is the result of all the effort and drive that we put together, each one contributing from their place to push this unstoppable engine that is Argentine tourism”, Hani specified in the opening ceremony.

Hani highlighted that the activity is facing new challenges linked to the growth of tourism and assured that “We have a lot to do and undertake ahead of us.“, while stressing that” 2023 will be the year of tourism in Argentina. We are going to break all records.”

The “Closing Meeting of the 2022 Tourist Year”, which took place in the iconic nightclub chosen by student tourism, was accompanied by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (Inprotur), Visit Argentina, the Federal Tourism Council (CFT), the Chamber of Tourism of Bariloche, the province of Río Negro and Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The event was attended by more than 200 guests, including national, provincial and municipal government authorities; executives of the tourism sector, entrepreneurs of the activity and specialized media.

In addition to Lammens, the ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Río Negror, Martha Velez; the Secretary of Tourism Promotion, Yanina Martinez; the Executive Secretary of Inprotur, Ricardo Sosa; the president of the CFT, Sebastian Giobellina; the president of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Pablo Ceriani; and the Secretary of Tourism of San Carlos de Bariloche, Gaston Burlontogether with the highest provincial tourism representatives.
