For this reason, he pointed out that it is necessary to modify the current credits of the General Audit of the Nation, the Chamber of Senators and Deputies, the Library of Congress, the Directorate of Social Assistance for the personnel of the National Congress, of the Congressional Budget Office and the Ombudsman for the Rights of Girls, Boys and Adolescents, agencies operating within the Legislative Branch, “in order to address specific needs.”

The DNU establishes an amount of $69,802,050,728 for the payment of “Social security debts recognized in court by the party that corresponds to pay in cash for all concepts, as a consequence of retroactive originated in adjustments made in the benefits corresponding to retirees and pensioners of the armed forces and the Security Forces, including the Federal Penitentiary Service”.

Another $72,577 million will be used to finance current expenses within the Program for Transfers and Contributions to Social Security and Decentralized Organizations, Transfers to Provincial Pension Funds”.

The most significant additional items that were authorized are:

  • Transfers and Contributions to Social Security and Decentralized Organizations of the Ministry of Labor, for $488,418 million.
  • Public Debt Service, $426,435 million.
  • Support for the National Early Childhood Plan of the Ministry of Social Development, $124,975 million.
  • Social Assistance, Treasury $71,230 million.
  • Prevention and Control of Disabilities, Presidency, $52,561 million.
  • Administration of Social Security Benefits Federal Penitentiary Service (Ministry of Security) $46,620 million.
  • National Teacher Incentive Fund (Ministry of Education) $44,001 million.
  • Investigation Service for Complex Crimes and Anti-drug Operations, National Gendarmerie (Ministry of Security) $29,856 million.
  • General Staff of the Argentine Army, Operational Sustainability (Ministry of Defense) $27,198 million.
