The rest of the sectors, although there were year-on-year increases, they showed a less dynamism compared to previous months. For example, the sector of Chemical Substances and Products increased by 4% year-on-yearwhere the production of Pharmaceutical products registered an increase of +2.7% year-on-year.

Production also increased Metalworking, with 3.4% year-on-year, and Oil Refining, with 3.2%.

A sector that experienced falls was the Non-metallic minerals, which registered a drop of 0.5% year-on-yearwith decreases in cement shipments and a null evolution in other construction supplies.

According to the analysis of the UIA“the data available for November show a disparate situationwhere although some production indicators continue to show year-on-year increases, as is the case of the automotive industry, falls are observed in sectors that supply construction inputs”.

Thus, they add that this panorama “generated lower growth expectations for the Argentine economy over the next year. The evolution of the macroeconomic context and the restrictions on the supply of inputs will be key elements to consider for the coming months, since they will be decisive for the future of industrial activity”.
