The text complements the Multilateral Agreement of Understanding on Consultation, Cooperation and Exchange of Information of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (Iosco).
“It is part of the Ministry of Economy’s policy of reaching agreements that pallow access to relevant information about Argentine companies or people abroad to fulfill our functions of regulation, supervision, control and promotion of fair, efficient and transparent securities markets, protecting investors and reducing systemic risk”, highlighted Negri.
As indicated, “the initiative will offer a tool that will allow access, in an agile way, to information on cross-border operations related to registration, registration or authorization processes of companies and individuals human resources to act in the stock markets”.
It will also provide “information related to the continuous supervision of the participants in the stock market, under conditions of trust, reciprocity and confidentiality.”
