Among all the items included in the survey, the ones that increased the most were condiments and other food products, with 2.1% in the week. Oils and vegetables followed, both with 1.2%. Fruit rose 1.1% in the same period.
Beverages and infusions to consume at home increased by 0.5%, while meats did so by 0.3%.
Sugar, honey, sweets and cocoa did not rise, while others showed negative variationssuch as ready-to-go meals (-0.2%), baked goods, cereals and pasta (-0.4%) and dairy products and eggs (-0.4%).
Average monthly food inflation remained stabilized around 3% for the fourth consecutive week and this week the monthly average shows 3.2%.
In it monthly average, fruit leads the rise, as it registers 13.1%. The rest of the items remain with averages below 5.3%, led by ready-to-go meals. They are followed by dairy products and eggs with 5%, beverages and infusions to consume at home, with 4.1%, sugar, honey, sweets and cocoa (3.3%), condiments and other food products (3%), bakery products, cereals and pasta (2.6%), oils (2.3%), vegetables (1.4%) and meats (0.9%).
According to the latest data published by INDEC, Food inflation in November was 3.5% and it was the item with the least variation.
