Siegfried Wolf joins the exclusive fashion company Strolz

He couldn’t and wouldn’t imagine a “Lech without Strolz”, said the manager Siegfried Wolf on his entry into the luxury fashion and sports retailer Strolz in Lech am Arlberg, which went bankrupt in 2020. In 2021, Wolf took over MAN’s truck plant in Steyr, which was threatened with closure.

Together with Daniel Grieder, the head of the Hugo Boss Group, and the Lech-born real estate manager Reinhard Wolf, Sigi Wolf is now taking over 41 percent of the shares in the traditional company of the Strolz family in order to secure the future in the long term, the company informed. In the case of over-indebtedness of more than 12 million euros, a quota of 50 percent was paid out.

Managing Director Olivia Strolz hopes that “after difficult times things are now looking up”. She remains the sole managing director, in a next step the new shareholders are to take over further shares. However, the Strolz family will continue to hold 50 percent in the future. The fashion house operates four branches in Lech and Zürs.
